It is 7 months now when our loving, brave Kusum (aka Vibha) passed away after surviving 7 years at stage 4 Lung Cancer (non-smoker) spreaded to Brain, Bones & so on
In honor & tribute to our fighter girl Kusum and to raise awareness of Cancer & Research…..Suryansh & I, father-son duo has started running for this cause.
Sunday 1st September, was our first run for this cause at #DwarkaHalfMarathon. We both has talen pledge to continue to run in these running events to raise awareness for Cancer, Reasearch, Patient’s Voice and motivate other Cancer patients.
Hope these small setps will also help to create awarenss and advocacy.

Ma’am my mother is suffering from same metastatic cancer and currently i have taking treatment in Tata memorial hospital Mumbai..still here on 6-Nov-2019,they are denying the fact that no other medicines are available other than chemotherapy and they are saying that nothing will be happen now take your mother at home and take care because my mother gets malnutrition after two chemotherapy..can you please disclose me the name of those medicines..it will be like god for me

Kusum had ALK Positive Lung cancer and took targetted therapy medicines (like capsules, tablets) of ALK lung cancer for ex. Crizotinib, Ceritinib, Alectinib etc. Kindly note as they are targetted therapy so they will work on ALK Lung Cancer only. Accordingly many other Lung Cancer do have their own targetted therapies.
